Hebarn Legacy - Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hebarn Legacy private server ("Server") for ROSE Online. By creating an account or using the Server, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Server.

2. Account Creation

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You may not share or transfer your account to another person.

3. Donations

  • Donations are voluntary and help cover server operational costs.
  • Donations may grant in-game currency or benefits but do not provide ownership rights.
  • Refunds are available under specific conditions (see Section 9).

4. Code of Conduct

While using the Server, you agree not to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other players.
  • Use offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate language.
  • Violate any in-game, forum, website, or Discord community rules.

5. Enforcement and Penalties

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Warnings.
  • Temporary suspensions.
  • Permanent bans.

The severity of the penalty will depend on the nature of the violation. Donations do not grant immunity from disciplinary actions.

6. Intellectual Property

Hebarn Legacy is a fan-operated private server and is not affiliated with the original developers of ROSE Online. All game content remains the property of its respective copyright holders. The server itself and related custom content are owned by the Hebarn Legacy administrators.

7. Server Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Server at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss of data or in-game progress.

8. Limitation of Liability

Use of the Server is at your own risk. The server is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from your use of the Server.

9. Refund Policy

  • Refunds for donations may be requested within 3 days of donation.
  • Refunds will only be processed if:
    • The user has not violated any rules.
    • The user has not used any in-game currency received from the donation.
    • The request is made through official channels.

Refund requests may be denied for any donation made with fraudulent intent or following any rule violation.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the Server constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
